Intel Core i9-12900KF - Alder Lake Processor made its debut in Q4'21 as part of Intel's 12th Gen Alder Lake family, delivering flagship desktop performance for gaming and content creation.

The Intel Core i9-12900KF is a 12th gen Intel® Core™ i9 processor built for high-performance PCs, featuring a hybrid architecture with 8 performance cores and 8 efficient cores for a total of 16 cores and 24 threads. It uses the LGA 1700 socket and is packaged as a boxed component for desktop systems.

Clock speeds are tuned for demanding workloads, with a processor boost frequency up to 5.2 GHz and a performance-core boost up to 5.1 GHz with a base performance-core frequency of 3.2 GHz. Efficient cores reach up to 3.9 GHz boost and 2.4 GHz base, enabling strong single-threaded performance while keeping background tasks efficient.
