With a cardioid condenser capsule, the Axis TC6901 delivers focused voice pickup and reduces background noise, making spoken words intelligible even in busy environments. Its sensitivity of 94 dB and signal-to-noise ratio of 94 dB ensure high-quality audio performance for voice applications.

The microphone covers a wide frequency range from 40 to 16,000 Hz and offers a dynamic range of 100 dB with total harmonic distortion around 1%, providing natural and accurate speech reproduction without audible artifacts. The maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB (1 kHz) means it can handle loud inputs without distortion.

This wired device uses an active balanced output with an XLR interface and is powered via XLR at 11–48 V while drawing only 5 mA. The input impedance is 200 Ω, supporting consistent signal transfer to compatible equipment such as the AXIS C6110.
