The wheels can also be locked into place.With a Pippy Oak wooden head and footboard, this bed has an adjustable platform height, back rest, and knee break angles – all at the touch of a button. The bed raises to 795mm to provide a better working height for nursing staff.The robust wooden side rails are collapsible below mattress level and extend higher to allow a safe mattress depth of 205mm, giving scope for improved pressure relief and comfort. All Woburn side rail systems require two-handed operation to prevent accidental releasing or operation by the bed user. The side rails must be slightly raised with one hand and released with the other, meaning they cannot be dropped by accident.Please note: The use of this care bed for children or people with atypical body sizes is not permitted.Returns note: As with all purchases we accept returns within 14 days so long as the product is unused.
