Salter EK5078IR Electric Kettle - 1.7L, Multicolour, 2200W

Salter EK5078IR Electric Kettle - 1.7L, Multicolour, 2200W arrives as a stylish and powerful glass kettle ideal for everyday use.

This 1.7 litre Salter kettle combines a striking multicolour glass housing with a powerful 2200 W heating element, offering fast boiling for busy kitchens and offices.

The kettle is cordless for easy pouring and lifting from its base, and its glass housing gives a modern, transparent aesthetic while allowing you to watch the water level. With a compact footprint of 154 mm width, 216 mm depth and 253 mm height, it fits neatly on most countertops.

Safety features include boil-dry protection to prevent the element from operating without water, helping to protect the kettle and provide peace of mind. Although it does not have an adjustable thermostat or auto power-off function, its robust 2200 W power brings water to the boil quickly.

Weighing 1.45 kg and supplied in a single box (package weight 1.59 kg), the Salter EK5078IR is lightweight enough for easy handling yet solidly built. The anti-calc filter is not included, so users in hard-water areas may wish to descale regularly to maintain performance.

Practical use cases include rapid boiling for tea, coffee, instant soups and quick cooking tasks in busy households, student accommodation or small offices. The kettle’s glass design also makes it a good choice for those who prefer to monitor water clarity and level visually.

Key selling points are the 1.7 L capacity, 2200 W rapid heating, cordless convenience and boil-dry protection, all presented in an eye-catching multicolour glass finish that complements modern kitchens.

In summary, the Salter EK5078IR is a dependable, attractive electric kettle that balances performance and style for everyday hot-water needs.
