Audio is received by a rack-mount receiver with a clear display and headphone 3.5 mm monitoring output, supporting an AF frequency response of 20 to 20,000 Hz. The system operates in the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) band with an RF range of 630–662 MHz and a switching bandwidth of 56 MHz, offering reliable spectral flexibility for congested environments.

Built for low-latency performance, the EW-DP S4-7 achieves an average latency of 1.9 ms and an impressive dynamic range of 134 dB while transmitting at 10 mW RF power. Bluetooth (2.402–2.48 GHz) enables convenient pairing and Smart Assist applications for streamlined setup and device management.

Power options include AA alkaline batteries and USB Type-C for the receiver, and the kit ships complete with batteries, antenna, mounting kit, power supply and a selection of cables (XLR–3.5 mm, 3.5 mm audio, USB).
