Lenovo Xeon Gold 6426Y server processor launched in Q1'23 delivers enterprise-grade performance for demanding data-center workloads.

The Intel Xeon Scalable 4th Gen 6426Y features 16 cores and 32 threads with a base frequency of 2.5 GHz and Intel Turbo Boost up to 4.1 GHz, giving administrators flexible performance for mixed priority tasks. With a 37.5 MB cache and enterprise optimizations, the processor balances throughput and low-latency response for server applications.

Built on the Sapphire Rapids platform and packaged for LGA 4677 (Socket E), the Xeon Gold family part supports octa-channel DDR4 memory up to 4800 MHz and up to 4 TB (maximum internal memory), with ECC for reliability. The chip supports Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory and up to 6 TB addressing in specification, making it suitable for large in-memory datasets.

Connectivity and expansion are robust with 80 PCIe lanes compliant with PCIe 5.0, three UPI links and a 16 GT/s system bus rate for fast interconnects in 2-socket (2S) configurations.
