Supermicro X13DEI - Intel C741 - LGA 4677 - E-ATX Motherboard arrives as a high-density server platform built around the Intel C741 chipset and LGA 4677 (Socket E) for Intel® Xeon® processors.

This Supermicro X13DEI supports up to two SMP processors, enabling multi-socket configurations for demanding enterprise workloads. The board’s E-ATX form factor (307.4 mm x 331.5 mm) provides the space and routing required for extensive I/O and cooling solutions.

Memory capacity and performance are standout features: the motherboard accepts DDR5-SDRAM across 16 DIMM slots with ECC support and 1.1 V operation, supporting speeds of 4000–5600 MHz (up to 5600 MHz) and a maximum internal memory of 4 TB (up to 256 GB per slot). Supported module sizes include 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 96GB, 128GB, and 256GB, and RDIMM configurations scale to the same 4 TB ceiling.

Storage and expandability are robust with PCIe 4.0 and SATA III interfaces, 10 SATA III connectors, and integrated RAID support for levels 0, 1, 5, and 10. These options make the X13DEI suitable for large-scale storage arrays, virtualization hosts, and database servers that require high throughput and redundancy.

The board includes integrated ASPEED AST2600 on-board graphics for system management and visualization, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports driven by a Broadcom BCM5720 controller, 1 VGA port, 1 COM port, 1 USB 2.0 port and 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. TPM connector and 8 chassis fan headers support security and advanced cooling management, while system health monitoring covers power supply, temperature, and voltage.

Firmware and management capabilities include UEFI AMI BIOS, ACPI 6.4, and SMBIOS 3.5 for modern server integration. The X13DEI is rated for wide storage and operating humidity ranges and storage temperatures from -40 to 70 °C, with recommended operating temperatures of 10–35 °C.
