If you are someone who wants a slightly more advanced camera then the D7000 would be a good option. The Nikon D300s SLR cameras are great for action shots due to their high speed in taking photos. The camera has a very fast continuous speed which results in high image qualities at a high ISO. This Nikon digital SLR camera will take photos at a rate of seven per second making it ideal for sport capture such as motorsport.

Finally, the top of the range Nikon digital SLR camera to choose from is the D700. It is about as close to a professional camera you can get, but comes at a price. Fantastic for action shots and with a 51 point autofocus the D700 is rich in features and solid in frame. The camera has a full frame 12.1 megapixel sensor that includes dust control as well as wide ISO range. In terms of its speed the D700 SLR camera can handle five photos a second at a continuous rate meaning it should be able to give you stunning pictures no matter what you are shooting.
