If you need a fast, high quality printer, then a laser printer would be ideal. It works by projecting an image of the page onto a rotating drum coated in organic photoconductors, and then the image is printed by direct contact and heat to fuse the ink to the paper. This means you get a crystal clear, super-fast result, without the risk of smudging. Another advantage of a laser printer is that it is fairly low cost to run as the cost of toner per page printed works out a lot less than refilling or replacing the cartridges in an ink-jet printer. A few years back, you would have had to pay a lot more for a quality laser printer, but now you can pick up a Samsung, Dell or Epson laser printer for under £50. For value for money, we would recommend the sleek and compact Samsung Mono Laser series, they are cheap, easy to use, quiet and fast.
