There are so many prams on market that choosing the right one can be confusing, especially if this is your first baby.

Family and friends will offer you plenty of advice, but you need to choose the pram that suits your lifestyle, your baby’s needs and your budget.
We’ve got some tips for you to consider when choosing your pram.
For newborns, you’ll need a pram with a full lie back seat, or you could choose one that enables you to use a carry cot or a
car seat that fits on to the
pushchair frame. The latter enables you to move your baby easily from a car to the pram, so bear this in mind if you use your car a lot.
Think about how you’ll use your pram as your baby grows and becomes a toddler. In the first few months after the birth you may prefer to have your baby facing you, so look out for prams that enable this, but then adjust so that when your baby is older they can face outwards.
Examine the different features of the prams you like. Do they have adjustable seat positions? Are they well-padded so that your baby will be comfortable and do they have weatherproof shields?
