There is a wide range of Sennheiser headphones to choose from, that will cater to your every need and budget. There is, for example a varied choice of HiFi and TV Sennheiser headphones to choose from including audiophile headphones, wired headphones, wireless headphones and headphones made especially for TV.

Audiophile Sennheiser headphones often come with Sennheiser’s E.A.R technology fitted. This technology ensures that the audio signals from your HiFi or TV are channelled into your ears accurately. In addition, products like the HD518 Sennheiser headphones come with Duofol diaphragms that reduce resonance as much as possible. There are about seven audiophile Sennheiser headphones all of which come with cushioned ear pads and head bands to make your listening experience ultra comfortable.

Slightly less desirable than the top of the range audiophile products are Sennheiser’s wired headphones for HiFi and TV. These represent the more standard headphone in the range and are more affordable. They generally do not possess the E.A.R technology of their counterparts but they can still produce very good sound quality. You can choose from lightweight and comfort based sets like the HD 201 or you can choose to plump for something like the HD 448 which offers a more lifelike stereo sound experience.

If you prefer to sit watching television or listening to music but don’t want to have to put up with the hassle of wires hanging down and getting in your way Sennheiser also offers wireless headphones, allowing you to sit or move around your home wire free while still listening to music. A Sennheiser headphone like the PXC 310 BT offers Bluetooth connection to connect to your device while also giving you the ability to cut out up to 90% of the outside noise. Or if you do not want Bluetooth connectivity you can choose from products like the RS 110 which allows you to connect to a device through three different RF channels. In addition the RS 110 has a range of 100 metres, something that you should particularly look out for with wireless Sennheiser headphones – the last thing you want is to have to stay in the same room to listen to your music or TV because the range is not strong enough. Finally in the HiFi and TV section Sennheiser offers dedicated TV headphones. Products such as these operate on an infra red system that transmits from your television to your headphones. Products such as the IS 410 transmit sound up to 12 metres while also offering rechargeable batteries and adjustable balance and volume.

Sennheiser headphones do not just cater for your home though, and they have a wide range of headphones, predominantly wired, that are made for portable use too. The HD 418 is a prime example of this with a prominent feature of the product being its handy single sided cable, while being optimised for any portable music player. If you don’t like the chunky style of the HD 418 then a set of HD 218 Sennheiser headphones may be more your cup of tea. They are much smaller and slimmer in design but still deliver a good quality, bass rich sound. Sennheiser caters for DJs too with the HD 212 PRO ideal for the professional or bedroom disc jockey. The HD 215 is also a good choice with its rotating cups to enable you to listen to two things at once. Or if you are more of a gamer, Sennheiser can help you there too. Its game line range includes headsets and microphones to allow you to listen and talk to your friends while playing online.

Not everyone, however, enjoys having the bigger can style headphones over their ears. Some prefer the smaller earphone variety, which are particularly suited to exercise and travel. Sennheiser earphones again come in a range of styles, types and price brackets but there is enough choice to make sure every need is covered.

To start with Sennheiser earphones have a professional portable range. These are the top of the range earphones that come with hook over the ears design, perfect for jogging or working out at the gym. Despite being much smaller than the headphones they still pack a considerable punch when it comes to sound with the IE 6 particularly impressing with its stereo sound and rich bass. One step down from this workout range is the more traditional range, known as the expression line. These Sennheiser earphones are more suited to those who want to listen to music on their daily commute without having big headphones over their head.

The Sennheiser cx range is possibly the most popular of the Sennheiser earphones. They have a classic look to them and a 3.5mm plug that will fit most music players. The CX 980i has an integrated remote and mic while the MX 980 allows you to control the volume through an integrated device. Sennheiser’s classic range is the most popular of the lot. The Sennheiser cx300 is the perfect fit for someone looking for a classic earphone with superb performance. It has bass driven sound, ergonomic fit to your ear, a carrying case and an asymmetrical cable, while coming in a range of colours for customisation. The Sennheiser cx range does not stop there though and continues to offer you a product whatever your budget.

The CX 380 Sport is sweat and water resistant, while the CX 400-II focuses on reducing outside noise. All the way down to the CX 880 you are guaranteed a value for money product, whatever you are after. The Sennheiser earphones style line are more sleek in their design and aesthetics while the company has also teamed up with Adidas to provide more fashion conscious products, endorsed by the likes of GB athlete Phillips Idowu.

Other products and accessories

It is not just head and earphones that Sennheiser produce either. The company offers a range of microphones, from wired mics like e 835 to musical microphones like the e 602-II. It also provides wireless microphone systems, ideal for bands and musicians while offering hearing amplifiers to those who may be hard of hearing.
