  1. A Bit Dated Now, But It Will Be Looked Back On As A Gaming Legend

    • Pros: Better than the Xbox; Looks acceptable; Was and is affordable
    • Cons: Is dated now; Ugly (in comparison with Next Gens); Unreliable

    There is two PS2s in my house. 1 in my bedroom, 1 in my brothers. We both play them regularily. I hope to get a new Xbox 360 soon, but I will still play my PS2. It has history. I can't think of a more legendary console. It was stunning back then. The graphics were ahead of it's time, the games were amaxing, and everyone owned 1 (and most people still do).     • Pros: Huge library, good price value, decently durable
    • Cons: Cheap laser lens, easy-to-overheat system

    So, this is how it is. Many people have noticed that their PS2 blacks have been messing up -- some won't play games, while others hesitate when doing so. I have this problem. I have had my PS2 for two-three years, and the problem is that the laser lens is a cheap off-brand.     um i like the ps2 alot ive already had 3 of them and 2 of them have all ready messed up and now my third one is messing up and im just wondering what wrong with the system? like when i put in a game it sometimes reads it and sometimes not. i just bought a 2006 game for it and it want work.
