2 out of 2 people found this review helpfulBeing a relative novice/hobbyist when it comes to photography I did intend on buying one of the D40 products untill I discovered that my existing Nikon AF lenses were incompatible so I decided on the D80. I am glad I did.

I have two digital D50's and a D70s both of which are excellent and I can use my older AF lenses, especially the 35-70 2.8D. I have had excellent results.
