    The scanning quality is absoloutly excellent and the printing is also very good .
    Im very impressed as it is my first time using a lexmark printer.

  2. Software Driver issues

    • Pros: Fits on desk, looks smart, support reasonably helpfull
    • Cons: Driver install issue meant that printing did not work

    Even with plenty of help from Lexmark support and the latest drivers downloaded, I could not make this printer work. On my desktop it would scan but not print (the setup did not finish), on the laptop it finished the install and printed ok, the black was very clear but there was some banding on a photo.   3. Cant complain too much it was a freebie!

    • Pros: Prints letters and school projects with black and white
    • Cons: Poor photo printing

    This printer is alright. That's all I can say about it. It came free with an awesome Gateway desktop from Best Buy. The printer prints anything just black and white or even basic word documents in color. The photo printing is not great and soooooo slow. If you just need it for daily taks it seems alright. But it goes through black ink like you wouldnt belive. Read Full Review »

  5. A good product on a tight budget. Highly Recomended

    • Pros: Fantastic machine genrally, easy to use.
    • Cons: No USB lead inc. No Card reader for direct printing.

    Just got myself a x1270 as was looking for an all in one with a small budget. Shopped around and picked up a brand new one in a sale at Robert Dyers for £29.99 with carts included!!! Less than most stand alone budget printers. I have been really putting it through its paces with printing and copying and it seems to be doing just fine.
