    • Cons: HEAVY

    After using the 07, which was a disaster, I bought a hoover cylinder cleaner which was supposedly for pet owners! Ha Ha, it was useless. I then bit the bullet and splashed out on the Animal, it is a match for my six dogs and more. Read Full Review »

    • Pros: Good at picking up pet hair. Easy to empty.
    • Cons: Awkward to carry upstairs.

    This machine replaced a Kirby, which weighed (and cost) several times more, and it does an equally good job.
    My floors are mainly laminate, with some rugs.
    It has developed a tendancy to jam when you tilt it back and forward as 2 plastic parts over the wheels become misaligned, but other than that it has lasted well. Contrary to reports, it will lose suction if you are picking up very fine dust, ... Read Full Review »

    • Pros: sucks well
    • Cons: heavy, expensive, not robust

    Broke a platic part within a month of getting it, 2 years burnt out motor, 5 year guarantee fine, Dyson could not come fix it for over 2 weeks, threatened to charge £55 if I could not prove date of purchase. I cancelled the call out and bought a Sebo to replace it. Would never buy a Dyson again. Read Full Review »
