Canon EOS 400D -

This is a great camera, I had a Fuji Finepix s9500 but was dissatisfied with the digital viewfinder so decided to invest in the 400D. You can integrate old Canon lenses with the 400D if you have them and the image quality is great. The standard lens kit is more than ample to start out with. The battery grip is a wise investment as the camera itself feels a little small and 'plasticy' to hold, but this is a minor quibble when you consider it punches above its weight in every other aspect. This camera can be used as a point and shoot effort at a family gathering or as a professional's choice taking advantage of all the features. I highly recommend this camera as a starter camera or for a seasoned professional, you will not be disappointed.
