The fact that this is the first fitness game that puts you into the game scanning over 50,000 points on your body says it all. The tracking is suberb, no lagging at all. Plus there's 4 fun games that can be played from 1-4 players.

This game is fantastic!! It dropped through my post box yesterday and ive been addicted since! Spent most of the afternoon on it and barely explored it yet. It seems like a game that you won't get bored of easily. Love it!!! Been on similar fitness games on Wii and it is 100% better!!

Fitness evolved is a game, its an exercise dvd........and it is great fun! The game is able to scan and track over 1 million points on your body meaning full player involvement in the game. It allows you to set and follow a personalised training programme aimed at working on your personal targets.

Fancy your own personal trainer on call? Any time, any place, anywhere? Well, maybe not quite anywhere, but any room in the house that leaves you free to swing your arms six foot in all directions in front of your telly. This is the answer. I am not a gamer and only came to this by accident.

Summary: Fitness Evolved 2012 is perfect for people who don't quite buy the sincerity of an encouraging, pre-recorded voice. Sure, there is one - and she was very kind not to mention the similarity of our silhouette to that of a birthing heifer. But we know how our brain works.
Short extract: Your Shape hurls numbers and brilliantly meaningless visual rewards at you. Every other fitness game we've played involves mimicking an instructor. Here, you warm up by waving your arms around to create whirlwinds that move virtual balls.
Conclusion: Good for people who need to be tricked

Short extract: If you're reading this at the time of publishing, you're one of 90% of people who've flushed some finances into a local gym.
Conclusion: If you're reading this at the time of publishing, you're one of 90% of people who've flushed some finances into a local gym. Thing is, no matter how local it may be, it never seems to be local enough. An step towards a more healthy and active lifestyle is never worth the 5 minute walk to the gym.

Short extract: The first fitness offering on Kinect is Your Shape Fitness Evolved by Ubisoft. Here you can have your own personal trainer set you a fitness regime or jump straight into a variety of activities or gym games.
Conclusion: With the release of Kinect there are many new genres of games that we can now expect to crop up more and more on the 360. One example of this is the fitness genre. As playing a fitness game with a traditional controller just doesn't work.

Short extract: Platform: Xbox 360 (Kinect Required) Developer/Publisher: Ubisoft Entertainment Before we begin, it's important to give this review some context. I'm an overweight, unfit individual (weighing in at just under 15 stone for my 5' 11” height) who didn't engage in any form of regular exercise...
Conclusion: The Short Version: Your Shape: Fitness Evolved is an extremely capable and rewarding exercise suite that essentially provides players with a personal cardio instructor in the comfort of their own living room.

Summary: True, fitness isn't as glamorous as putting the boot into a mutant or powersliding a Lambo, but it's something we should all do more of and this makes it both enjoyable and easy to get in to.
Short extract: The main draw is the personal touch: it feels like you actually have a personal trainer egging you on. It's incredible the difference live feedback makes - instead of having to wait until the end of a set to hear whether you're doing well or badly, you get advice on how to improve your form as soon...
Conclusion: A compelling way to stay healthy
