Good Points
With 2 dogs and 2 children, my floors are constantly dirty. Fed up with cleaning them as soon as I returned from work every night, I decided to invest in this robot - and it was definitely worth it. My routine has changed for the better - I no longer have to spend an hour cleaning all my floors before I do anything welse every night - instead I can cook tea/ dust/ complete paper work for my job/ go to the gym.

Here are the good points:
1) Takes little time to set up
2) Does a good job
3) Navigates obstacles
4) Doesn't actually need cleaning fluid - can work on water alone
5) Leaves me stress free!
Bad Points
1) Can be a bit noisy
2) Does leave a damp surface (I have all laminate flooring and although not recommended for laminates I still use it. Was hoping the robot would leave the surfaces slightly drier than it does to prevent bubbling - but it only takes a second to run over with kitchen cloth if needed)
3) Doesn't cook tea or make a brew.... Ok, so that's just wishful thinking...

      8 out of 10

Summary: If you're not a fan of vacuuming, then surely you would have to agree that its uglier brute of a cousin, mopping, is even less enjoyable.

Conclusion: The iRobot Scooba 385 floor-washing machine delivered good results during our tests. It is painfully loud, but it's probably not as painful as actually mopping floors yourself. It also uses considerably less water than conventional mopping.

Pro : Cleans well, easy to take apart and clean, mops the floor for you

Cons : Very loud, soap is not sold in Australia, expensive
