loved this robot until it started to go wrong. within a year the cleaning head broke so it cost £60 to replace. another year and it appeared to have the same problem but another £60 expended didn't rectify the problem. customer support told me to spend another £50 as it was the battery. it wasn't.

I love it but... there's a problem:every week it starts running by itself at 5 a.m.! A little too early, don't you agree? What can I do to stop it from doing so? I'm now retired and I don't need to program it in advance, that's why I've chosen this model.

I've owned the Roomba 555 for over four months now. I delayed writing a review because I wanted to see how reliable it was. I bought the Roomba when I was recovered from a bad bout of flu and hadn't been well enough to vacuum for six weeks. I was desperate.

Summary: Most would love a robot to do the washing up, ironing and vacuum cleaning. Well here is a circular device that can do the last named, some would class a dishwasher as the first that leaves the ironing yet to be sorted out.
Short extract: This unit is not designed to replace your vacuum cleaner but to work alongside it, lets assume that once a week everything gets a thorough vacuum, this could then be used for the in between time to do the light work.
Conclusion: Doing my Internet searches found the iRobot Roomba 555 at a best price of £312.99 from the link below.
