Good Points
It's capable of making poor negatives into good photographs.
Bad Points
The 35mm negative holder is fiddly and difficult to get rolled negatives into the holder. The holder on the Epson Perfection 3490 Photo was much better for this.

Good Points
Very good reproduction from prints.
Bad Points
I seem to get better results from prints in a fraction of the time it takes to scan 35mm negatives. The ICE system on negatives doesn't seem to work but I may be setting it up incorrectly.

Good Points
Excellent scanner producing superb quality images. Delighted with the performance of the 35mm & 120 negative holders. Although I have a 3-in-1 scanner/copier/printer I needed this unit to scan a collection of old negatives and photos. So far it has done the job perfectly.
