Summary: Most monitors, like televisions, are black. Either that or silver. Other colours are generally frowned upon. Woodgrain casing, for example, went out in the seventies (thankfully). With the release of the M2200HD, BenQ has decided to ...

Conclusion: We weren't sold on its styling, but the M2200HD provides a quality picture, although the dynamic contrast feature produces variable results. At this price point, the inclusion of a webcam in the package is pretty impressive, too.

Conclusion: Although it's a little pricey compared to similar 24in models, BenQ's M2400HD LCD monitor does include a number of nifty extras like a detachable webcam and USB ports. The full HD resolution combined with a HDMI port make it a great choice for gaming.

Cons : A little expensive, question marks over build quality, some image noise via HDMI, stand isn't height adjustable, controls aren't backlit, viewing angles could be improved
