Good Points
Samsung has implemented a robust feeling design, good display and sensitive touch screen. Windows Phone 7 has already implemented a number of features improving the usability and ergonomy, more to be expected with the Mango-update later on. Overall communication features are well implemented (so far no time to check the security features / potential in business use).
Bad Points
Touch screen keyboard too small for serious writing, and - amasingly - at least the current version has no bluetooth profile supporting external keyboards (... With this one, the device could be an all-in-one tool for me).
Also the support for languages and regions still limited (more supposed to come with the Mango update).

      6 out of 10

Summary: Samsung's Omnia 7 is a first-generation Windows Phone 7 handset, and although the 7.5 "Mango" update is ready, it hasn't yet passed the network operator certification process. Thanks to Microsoft's early announcement, we know what to expect from Mango,...

Conclusion: A great AMOLED screen and great build quality make the Omnia 7 an attractive phone, but Windows Phone 7 means your content is tied to Zune

Summary: TechSmart gets its hands on the latest smartphone within Samsung's Omnia range, the Omnia 7, powered by Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 mobile OS.

Conclusion: Samsung’s Omnia 7 is a solidly built, simple to use device offering some impressive specs, such as its 4" Super AMOLED display and 8 GB of storage. Now Microsoft just needs to bolster the number of available apps for its Windows Phone 7 OS-running...

Summary: The Samsung Focus SGH-I917 from AT&T is one of the first Samsung smartphones to come out that runs on the newish Windows Phone 7 operating system. The first ever Windows Phone 7 device that we tested was the HTC HD7 back in November. The HD7 was a fine...

Conclusion: We dare say that the Samsung Focus feels like a very female-friendly phone with strong “girl” appeal, while the HTC HD7 just looks and feels more masculine to us. Unfortunately, the Samsung Focus lacks 4G and some premium features like a front-facing...

Pro : Excellent Display and form-factor, Great camera, Solid performance

Cons : Not a 4G device, lacks multitasking capabilities and other features – at-least until Mango update in the fall, no front-facing camera
