My new phone failed to switch on after its first full charge. It is completely useless. On googling the problem, I discovered this was a well known issue on this model and blackberry r said to b "working on it". They should not sell such a defective model.

Summary: The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is an update on the classic BlackBerry range, the most advanced yet, combining buttons, a QWERTY keypad and a touchscreen. The Bold range may be favoured by business types, but it's also great for anyone that loves to read and...

Conclusion: The BlackBerry Bold is a fine phone. The best BlackBerry Bold yet. If you need a phone purely for staying in touch through email, text message and instant messaging, the BlackBerry 9900 is ideal, if not flawed in some areas.

Pro : As with most other BlackBerry phones, the Bold 9900 is wonderfully well made. It feels sturdy and reliable. A neat metal band running throughout lends the Bold 9900 a luxury look. There’s a certain weight to the Bold 9900 that makes the device feel...

Cons : We love that the camera is a decent 5-megapixel shooter, but we’re not too keen on the lack of autofocus. Trying to capture subjects that are moving at even the slowest speeds is a pain. The touchscreen is a nice addition, but it doesn’t always feel as...

Conclusion: The BlackBerry Bold 9900’s superb keyboard, fantastic design and great display make it without a doubt the best BlackBerry ever produced. However, it's still very tough to recommend this over iPhone and Android alternatives when you take into account...

Pro : Superb design ; Fantastic keyboard ; Bright and crisp display

Cons : No Flash support ; Limited third-part app selection ; UI sometimes confusing

Summary: The Bold series gets a much needed facelift in design and extra power under the hood. The Bold 9900 holds a lot of promise.

Conclusion: If I said the Bold 9900 is expensive it would be an understatement. It costs a whopping Rs 30,490. This is where the Blackberry loses points because even the powerful Galaxy SII is now available for Rs 26,990. I mean you can buy this if you are a...
