Summary: Yamaha has a whole range of stands and home cinema furniture made for sound bars. Thankfully, they are retro-compatible: owners of old generations of sound bars will therefore be able to buy a stand from the 2010 range and change their sound bar later....

Conclusion: Yamaha sound bars do excellent digital sound processing and the automatic calibration feature on the YSP-5100 proves the Yamaha expertise. Just a shame it doesn't give a better all-round performance and has to be reserved for cinema use.
