Really disappointed as for the price was expecting the backpack to come with the 3ds accessories like similar ones on market and it came with none.<br />Having said that its great for storing the 3ds in and all of its bits and has good compartments for the games eyc

I was anticipating the release of this console for a while, and managed to trade mine and my partners DS lites in (and with my staff discount!) managed to get it pretty cheap! There is no way I would have paid out the going rate of about £219 when it first came out!

I tried this for the first time and found it an excellent way to do business. I did have a query about a couple of the games, but this was complicated by the transfer to the new catalogue.

OK, here are some impressions on the 3DS wheel. I've been using it since launch day and it's my preferred way to play Mario Kart 7, and pretty much my preferred grip for many other games. It makes the 3DS more comfortable to hold for long periods of time.

The processor is used well and 3D elements makes the graphics appear even better. It really gives a sense of scale that is only matched by a bigger screen and much higher resolution.

Short extract: TechEye got a Nintendo 3DS sample unit to play with last week, over half a year after first manhandling it at the Gamescom show in Cologne. It has to be said, playing with Nintendogs and brawling through Streetfighter managed to make us feel 13 again.
Conclusion: Fluffy and sometimes bloody handheld fun with an autostereoscopic 3D screen - beat that!

Summary: Although it has its faults, the 3DS has staggering potential
Short extract: The Nintendo 3DS sure has a tough act to follow. Its predecessor – the Nintendo DS – is one of the best-selling games consoles of all time, with well over 100 million units shifted. Topping that staggering figure isn’t going to be easy, but Nintendo’s new machine as a few tricks up its sleeve – as...
Conclusion: Now for the important part of the review – the bit where we tell you in no uncertain terms if the 3DS is really worth the £200+ that retailers are currently asking for it. The short answer is yes.

Summary: The Nintendo 3DS' 3D capability is its headline feature, but really it's just the icing on the cake. This feature-packed little console offers tonnes of fun, even if its battery life is slightly pants.

Short extract: Nintendo's follow-up to their highly successful Nintendo DS & DS Lite comes their first real attempt at 3-dimensions in their latest handheld console, aptly named the 3DS. The 3DSs visuals and design are very much simiilar to its predecessor, retaining its dual screen approach, with the added nub...
