I have owned this player since they first came out. I was told not much would beat it for picture or sound - and it plays SACD's which for me was vital. Was my supplier right ? Well, basically, in my experience of 3 other players - yes ! They were Panasonics and a PS3 though so not high end.

There are many good things to say about this Denon device. For one, it was straightforward to set up. As far as the colours go, they looked washed out on our giant plasma screen, but it was easy to navigate through the menus to change the settings to give a better colour profile than at our local...

Following the failure of my latest Samsung BD player, I thought I would give one of the 'premium' brands a go so invested in the Denon which Amazon had for a great price. My priority was a player which produces great 2D & 3D visuals and is reliable and easy to use. The Denon does not dissapoint.
