I bought this as a present and am pleased. The camera is quite small and seems quite easy to use. Good that it came with a case although i did have to buy a memory card. The battery is charged either from the mains or USB i think.

Bought this for someone who was going to Mexico on Honeymoon. The camera worked well and they came back with nearly 200 pictures of their holiday. Thanks for the very prompt delivery in time for their holiday.

This camera cost me just £35. It does everything you could desire from a cheap, compact, light and easily transportable modern digital camera. All the features you need, great quality pictures, good video recording, an array of features that are fairly easy to use and good battery life.

Short extract: Despite its budget price-tag, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-S3 is a good-looking camera, with a distinctive pebble shape, rounded corners and an attractively glossy finish to the all-plastic body.

Conclusion: The Panasonic Lumix DMC S3 is an excellent value for money pocket camera. It is very hard to beat when compared alongside its direct rivals. Picture quality and features have an edge over many of its competitors while the rapid response times are also a big plus point.

Short extract: The Panasonic DMC-S3 is just one of the many budget compact cameras on the market today. Supporting an impressive 14-megapixel sensor, HD movie mode and a 4x optical zoom, at first glance this compact certainly looks like excellent value for money at £130.
Conclusion: The budget price of the Panasonic DMC-S3 is easily its best feature; however, image quality has been compromised and in low light the noise is a big problem

As well as being stylish the camera is designed to be simple to use, with easy to use features while performing to a high standard.

Summary: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-S3 is by no means perfect, but it's still head and shoulders above most other budget compact cameras. It's also very light, and refreshingly easy to operate.
Short extract: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-S3 is by no means perfect, but it's still head and shoulders above most other budget compact cameras. It's also very light, and refreshingly easy to operate.
Conclusion: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-S3 is a great little device. It's cheap, light, easy to use, and takes a pretty good picture given the right conditions. Its low-light performance is something of a disappointment, but, if you can live with using the flash when shooting indoors, the S3 provides very...
