Good Points
I upgraded from a 450D, as I wanted a step up for not much more money. In 3-4 years time I'll be ready for full-frame, and this will be the last APS-C frame.

+ Very Solid Build
+ AF Fine Tuning!
+ High FPS
+ Great Control (once you've adjusted to them!)
+ Good MP
+ High ISO results much better than the 450D
Bad Points
- Back focused when I got it. 2nd hand, but only 6K actuations. 70GBP to fix.
- CF cards, rather than SD.
- Fiddly On/Off switch.
