Summary: The 22-inch Technika 22-228 offers good value for money with a pleasing design and decent digital-media playback. Unfortunately, the picture isn't as refined as that of a big-brand set.

Conclusion: While its picture quality may lack the finesse of similarly sized sets from big-name brands, we still think the Technika 22-228 offers good value for money with impressive digital-media playback features, an on-board DVD player and neat design

Summary: Although not nearly as bad as you might expect for the price, the Technika LCD32-209's motion-handling flaws are bad enough to ensure that the set should only be considered for casual, second-room use

Conclusion: Consequently, while the LCD32-209 might just about warrant consideration as a second-room set, given how cheap it is, we certainly wouldn't recommend it as a main TV

Pro : Low price for an HD Ready, 32-inch TV ; Sound is okay ; Decent contrast ; Vibrant colours

Cons : Dire motion blur ; Noisy pictures ; Colour tone can look strange, especially with standard-definition content
