HI I am a customer advisor at Pc World i have been there for around 4 months now and basically every customer we meet asks for a discount we only make 5% margin on laptops and desktops so for a £500 computer we make £25 pounds so we cant discount unless you take something like Pc performance which is 100% profit why should we discount our prices are very competitive and we offer a price match.I ... I went in to one of the PC World stores after a new computer and was delighted with the service I got. As an avid PC user I knew about the software I needed and was able to buy that without any problems and had someone to help me get all the things I was after. Am I just lucky? For all the disgruntled reviewers I would say come to Cumbria. The staff at PC World in Carlisle are friendly, willing to discuss various options, happy to let a customer go away and think about their purchase, do the transaction in a quiet sales corner with comfy chairs and carry any heavy goods to the car.

PCWORLD is a disgrace. I spent 30 minutes with a sales person only to be told at the end of it that if I didnt take out the monthly protection plan I would not be eligible for any offer or discounts. It was in fact worded that there are people that spend much more than I do in store and they have to take out the protection to access any deals.

St. George's Retail Park Leicester take some beating on poor customer relations. The after sales ethos is very unfriendly, unhelpful and forgetful of our hard earnt money spent. The old boy on the customer service clearly is a 'jobs worth' type.
