After then, I saw so many bad ratings about Dixons on the internet and I became very worried about my order, because I did not receive the third email by 5pm the next day. I ordered the Samsung PS42Q96HD Plasma

I ordered the Samsung PS42Q96HD Plasma with Serano SB1050 TV stand in black. TV and stand look fantastic. Picture quality is amazing even when watching Sky or Freeview SD broadcasts. Upscaled DVDs look awesome. Best price on line by £150 and delivered exactly when said. No problems whatsoever. I would definetly recommend Dixons on my own experience. Well Happy! Read Full Review »

As some reviews of Dixons were less than complimentary, I was slightly concerned, but the fridge I wanted was considerably cheaper with them so decided to risk it.

I received an email to confirm my order the same day and another on the 9th March 08 to say that the order had been processed and the item would be delivered in 5 working days by DHL. I ordered a Samsung LCD TV from Dixons after lots of research and finding their price to be the best available.

Overall they were great. I ordered on the Sunday and the TV arrived at my house on Thursday afternoon via DHL. There was no extra charge for postage. I recieved E-mails to confirm my order and confirmation of dispatch.

If you live in a village that has narrow

If you live in a village that has narrow streets, DON'T even consider ordering from DIxons (unless you want a gas cooker). I placed an order with them for a washing machine. They turned up on the delivery date in an enormous truck that was too large to drive down the street I live in. Would never use again. After taking my money and giving me a delivery day my order just sat there, and sat there and sat there.

Telephoned their useless CS and they were useless. Just kept saying that it should be picked up by the couriers today but it never was.

I cancelled it in the end and went elsewhere (Ebuyer). Will never use Dixons again. Read Full Review »
