i ordered sony camcorder from this

i ordered sony camcorder from this store. i did get this in 1 weeks time but i was sent a used camera probably a return. it had signs of wear on it, box and seal were broken, time and date was already set on the camera. Although i did get my money back but after paying £799 one does not expect a used item to be sent. BE CAREFUL WHILE ORDERING WITH THIS STORE. Read Full Review »

Purely Gadgets is a company I will never use again. I ordered a Nikon rechargeable battery from them. They sent me a £300+ digital waterproof camera by mistake. I returned it to them immediately by special delivery, enclosing the recepits for the postage. Despite acknowledging they had received the camera, they never even said thank you for saving them £300. Do not use this store. Their aftersales service is appalling. I bought a Sony Camera. I found that the battery charger power cable was missing and immediately E mailed the company requesting urgent action as I could not use the camera. They ignored my E mail. Ordered the d40x (nikon) recevied the d40 (how sly as it was the older model). Returned it, told i will get the new one in 2 days, 3 days later i call them, no in stock. They then refund the money to me without my authorisation. They dont have any manaagers to speak to , i must have called 10 times. This company should be struck from Kalkoo. The most unprofessional organisation I have ever dealt with. Making promises to deliver, lying ad generally messing me about.

Ordered camera on 7 April. It is now the 29 April, and I have finally cancelled it. Whether or not I will receive a refund is anyones guess.

How the company can illegally advertise false delivery dates is beyond me. Trading ... Read Full Review »

I have called customer services four times and they keep telling me it's with the courier.
