The glass is always half empty - take no notice of any of the naysayers on here; we have used Dwell online on a number of occassions and the service has been impecable from start to finish. Contrary to many of the reviews here I have found the service from start to finish to be excellent. We visited the South London store as it is our nearest after browsing the ranges online and sending for a free catalogue. AWFULL AWFULL AWFULLL.... Dont use this store. they haven't a clue about customer service!
After making a complaint about their delivery persons ruining my brand new carpets by stupidly walking thick black muck all the way through my hallway/lounge, I then decided to make a complaint.

A member of staff in the islington store gave me the wrong box which I double checked with him because I thought it was the wrong box, to which I got a very rude reply, surprise surprise when I got it home it wasnt what i ordered.

Awful customer service. We waited for almost a month for 4 dinning chairs. Then we received an email on Monday afternoon saying that the delivered would be on Tuesday. Had to take a day off from work and we found out that two of the chairs came with the wrong legs. On Wednesday we called to complain. They said they would send 2 new chairs, which was good. terrible customer service and no real complaints proceedure. we bought a sideboard from there product no 101834 and was shocked at how difficult the so called self assembly was. we even had to make holes ourselves. which in my mind is carpentry and not self assembly.why do these companies not bother with easy self assembly? well maybe because it saves them money and who cares about the customer?

Dwell has really poor customer service and made a mess of my delivery twice. I have been waiting for almost 3 months and I'm trying to find out how I am to receive my furniture. I would advise not to buy through Dwell, if anything goes wrong no-one can help you over the telephone and no-one will respond to your emails, and like me you could end up nearly £300 out of pocket and not know where...
