I purchased a treadmill from gymworld.co.uk. Delivery was prompt. However, after delivery I discovered that the treadmill was just too large for my little house. I suppose this was a combination of my own stupidity and perhaps the website could have had a more detailed product description.

I ordered some weights, dumbell bars, and an exercise mat from GymWorld using their website. All the items were listed as in stock and available for delivery within 3-5 days.

5 days later
Called customer services to discover that the exercise mat was actually out of stock. I agreed to an alternative. Delivery due in a couple of days.

I'd read a few bad reviews for Gymworld and to be honest I only read them after I had made my purchase. Fearing the worst I decided to give them a call to try and put my mind at ease. The sales team couldn't have been any more helpfull and they gave me my consignment number straight away. They even sent a confirmation email out. I have ordered the York C750 'Platinum Series' Cycle. I ordered this last monday for a saturday delivery, which still hasnt turned up. I have tried calling the delivery hotline but theres always no answer. Looks like i'll be waiting till next week, which is not very convenient for me!

I bought a treadmill from Gymworld about 5 weeks ago. It broke three weeks later. We called them and they basically told us to deal with the manufacturers. I wrote an email to Gymworld to complain which they have ignored. The manufacturers are very slowly dealing with it but at the moment I am out of pocket with a useless piece of equipment gathering dust in my garage. Avoid this lot at all costs... This company is highly unrecommended, purchased a rowing machine which was faulty, had to go through trading standards to get a refund. Go to a more recognised retailer and pay a bit more, its not worth the hassle.
