Beware of this companies delivery times, i was waiting for my tv a month after i ordered it, by which time the price at other places had dropped. AVOID THIS COMPANY
Online Stock status was an "untruth"- said 7-10 days but so far 16 days and counting with
No communication email informing of true stock status, so when I call to find out it
Took ages for someone to answer my call (informing me that it should be 7-10 days...even though it had already been 8 working days)
Still no communication to provide update 10 days later

This may go on a bit but please read to make you aware of what can go wrong (if published - bet we don't win the MP3!) We paid £710 for TV in-store (Romford) we were told it would be delivered to the store on the Thursday we collected set it up only 2 find it was the wrong model- phoned store and after finally convincing the rude assistant that they had delivered the wrong model were told corr... I have ordered a washing machine and Samsung 42" Plasma TV in the last 6 months and both were delivered on time and in perfect condition. The delivery drivers were very helpful and the TV delivery drivers unpacked the TV for us as I have poor health. Read Full Review »

On Christmas Day, Empire Direct offered a Canon digital camera at a very competitive price which I promptly ordered.

A couple of days latter I received a call from Empire Direct claiming that there was a mix-up with their system and that they took more orders than they should have as there wasn't enough stock.
