Ordered the Hitachi DZHS500E Camcorder.

Ordered the Hitachi DZHS500E Camcorder. Arranged delivery for the next Friday at home as they would not deliver to my office address on my first order. Delivery did not turn up. Asked them for a Saturday delivery which I was told was not possible. Contacted Amtrak, their delivery company who told me that they did provide a premium Saturday delivery service which I would happily have paid for as it was a birthday present needed by Sunday. Was told it would definitely be delivered on Monday so took the day off work and again it was not delivered. Tried to escalate the issue with Empire Direct to no avail. Did not even get any sort of apology for the inconvenience caused so cancelled my order. Appalling level of customer service. Have e-mailed them to complain and have not even received a reply as yet. Avoid at all costs.
