BEWARE OF ORDERING ONLINE WITH PC

BEWARE OF ORDERING ONLINE WITH PC WORLD!! In fact beware of PC World full stop. The above ratings would be 0 out of 5 if there was such a rating.
Saw TV I wanted on PC World website. Wanted to get it delivered, but was pick up only. Nearest store to me that had it in stock was 50 miles away. Reserved TV via the PC World website day before, and following day trekked across two counties to collect my order...or so I hoped.
At the store, after half an hour of witnessing a headless chicken competition between PC World staff, was told that though they had a record of my reservation they did not have the actual TV, but nobody had bothered to tell me. 50 miles for nothing!The best they could do was offer me a far inferior alternative (not even the same manufactorer!) or an ex-display model of the one I was hoping to buy. Viewed ex-display model - it had scratches, bits missing and not even a box to put it in!! Manager offered a slight reduction in respect of the condition, but not for the fact that I had driven 50 miles to the store only to find PC world had got it wrong again. Staff did not seem to care that the level of custer service they gave would have shamed Little Britian's Vicky Pollard. It was a case of "there's nothing we can do". In conclusion, I would suggest that PC World stick to selling computers, and leave the selling of televisions to the big boys. Hand on my heart, I can say that I will never, ever step foot in a PC World store again
