PC World

I tried to order this laptop through PC

I tried to order this laptop through PC World twice. The first time, I ordered to collect from the store. I drove in to collect it only to be told that they didn't have it in stock, despite my print out stating otherwise. They couldn't guarantee when it would be in stock, so I left empty-handed, having lost 2 hours out of my day and having paid £12 in parking and congestion charges for no reason. I ordered again for home delivery and paid £10 for a guaranteed delivery date. I called up the morning before delivery to ensure that there were no problems and was told everything was in order. 4 hours later I received an email advising me that the order would not be arriving at the specified time and that they could not tell me when the laptop would be despatched. This is, as I said, despite paying extra for a guaranteed delivery time. I have never wasted so much time and effort in an attempt to spend money. I have now cancelled the order and will never be using PC World again - they seem completely incapable of fulfilling any of their guarantees or promises.
