We purchased a sony laptop at the Rotherham store yesterday. My husband had already decided on the model he wanted, and it was cheapest unfortunately at PC World. Our local Wakefield store did not have any in stock, said Rotherham did, but said couldn't ring and either hold it or get it across to Wakefield. Said would sell the display model at Wakefield to him, but at full price & manager would not shift on this!Couldn't get this online either. Drove to Rotherham & still one in stock, although it couldn't be found at first. However, the salesman there (Harley) took great offence to the fact that we did not want to buy their insurance with it, was pretty offensive to the point of being rude,and had to 'see my manager' about this couple of times, heaven knows how they'll go on when laws on this change next year. He said he had this insurance himself (?!). Also, smacking chewing gun in mouth, but we wanted to get out of store with laptop intact, so made hasty retreat. Never again.
