I went to get a memory upgrade at the

I went to get a memory upgrade at the Tottenham Court Road PC World. They have a large sign advertising memory upgrade for £14.99 in store. This includes memory installation and on the spot service. I waited in the queue for about 30 minutes. I then was told by the manager Sanjika that I needed two RAM memory cards installed and they would charge me for 2 installations! What a scam. He also told me that they couldn't provide on the spot service as they were busy. However, he then told me they could in fact provide on the spot service if I paid for 'premium' service.

The long queueing time, false advertising and pricing scams all lead to a bad consumer experience that should be investigated by the advertising standards association. PC World customer service and marketing teams should be ashamed and embarassed.

I hope other people read this so they don't waste their time with PC World, at least at this location anyway. I bet the other stores are comparable in poor service.
