I bought a compaq laptop from pc world

I bought a compaq laptop from pc world in newport - i have no complaints with the actual store but plenty with pc world in general. The first laptop i had was faulty and was exchanged straight away. The second laptop i had developed a fault after 6 weeks, i phoned tech guys and over the course of a week they had me do system restores and a system recovery to no avail - it was eventually picked up by a courier and i was told average of 7 - 10 days and i would have it back !!! it has now been 18 days and i have had to chase it up - sometimes i am told the part is in stock and i wont have to wait long and other times i am told the part is still out of stock and they dont know when i will get it back !! When i quoted the sale of goods act to them they got quite narky and said they still had 11 days before they have breached any contract - as far as i can see i bought faulty goods and they should replace or refund - the laptop was brand new for goodness sake ! Would not recommend PC World to anyone - ever. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
