Went to picstop after reading glowing reviews as I wanted a replacement battery for my Nokia phone. They were advertising a battery as "Nokia BL-4B - Replacement Mobile Phone Battery" with a picture of a genuine Nokia battery next to it (looked exactly like the one in my phone). So I ordered it - what I got was a lookalike that didn't fit my phone. When I rang to complain I was told that they didn't sell Nokia own brand batteries and so had sent me the right thing. I said they did, I was looking at the webpage on their own site. They said it was called a "replacement battery" to indicate it wasn't a Nokia - I thought in my naivity that a "replacement battery" was a battery that replaced the one you already had. I said that showing a picture of a Nokia battery and not at any point indicating that this was a lookalike was probably illegal. They denied this - but I hate this kind of low level dishonesty so much I'm considering complaining to the ASA. I'm furious! If you're going to sell lookalikes then a) make that clear and b) make sure they do they job they're supposed to! I wish I could have given them no stars, frankly.
