Boots were very good overall, delivery options were second to one, there were no hidden costs which others were trying to impose. The fridge I bought cost around 80 quid more than the most competitive but the ease, comfort and lack of worry were well worth it. Also got double reward points. I was given one delivery date later to be told it would be a later date. I called Boots and they arranged for an alternative fridge freezer which caused some hassle calling them and re looking at different models, however, the model they suggested was a good model and met our crireria. Customer service fantastic, very quick delivery. Was kept informed at all times by email and text. Was given a time slot, and driver also phoned on the day to give me more exact time. No problem about steep basement steps. Would use Boots again for buying large appliances. Read Full Review »

Boots gave us a time-slot between 10:00 and 14:00. The delivery people arrived unexpectedly at 07:30. We were not properly dressed, and had not prepared the area for the tumble dryer s arrival. They also insisted in bringing the machine through the front door, when we requested that they use the back.

Booked delivery for Monday as slots shown as free, item in stock and paid extra for express deivery, arranged for someone to be in etc. Had a phonecall to say delays with manufacturer so could they deliver it on Wednesday.
