I ordered a fridge freezer on 20 August

I ordered a fridge freezer on 20 August and given delivery date of 25 September-a wait of 5 weeks. Just 2 days prior to delivery date, received a phone call to say item not in stock and next delivery date would be 19 October-a wait of an extra 31/2 weeks. When asked if the item would be delivered this time, I was told that it could not be guaranteed! My husband and I both work and an appointment had to be cancelled in order that someone could be at home for the delivery. This is simply not good enough for a firm chosen for its allegedly good name.
