Strange experience. I was seriously

Strange experience.
I was seriously worried about the staff who picked up my cooker for recycling and dropped off the new one. The guy in charge was obviously competent and non complaining but tired (on his day off) and his assistant was an agency worker/stock person who quite frankly didn t have a clue. My old cooker was Dragged out (thank GOd my hall carpet was being replaced that very day) then dropped - I was scared to death as I thought it had landed on the helpers leg but fortunately he was okay. The cooker bits: rings, grill hood etc were then put into a nearby skip (not mine) and I had to tell them to remove the waste from my neighbours skip as it might (justifiably) cause problems. I then discovered that contrary to the information I was given on the phone the cooker had a gas pipe high up - almost waist height (not ground level) and that extra bits were needed. The Corgi plumber said the cooker had to be bracketed due to its light weight and I had to buy a pipe for conection(despite asking where the conection was and what fittings I would need) I therefore had to buy everything at the last minute thereby costing me more time, trouble and expense.

This has been a very expensive venture.
Better comunication would have helped. My original Corgi plumber would have been half the price but he wasn t prepared for the pipe, bracket scenario so we had to go expensive. The cooker is okay but I feel cheated.
This is not an experience I would want to repeat.
