The 1st breadmaker arrived within 24hours of ordering, but was faulty, contacting customer care by e mail they agreed the machine was faulty and within minutes I received an e mail saying a replacement had been ordered and how I could arrange to send back the faulty appliance. Beware - Amazon cancelled my account

Beware - Amazon cancelled my account without telling me, left my orders in limbo, refused to respond to e-mail and provided a telephone service unable to address customer concerns. They have no means for dealing with complaints and no wish to manage them. Oh dear! Things have gone downhill

Oh dear! Things have gone downhill recently. I previously (about 6 months ago) gave Amazon 5 stars overall. Amazon customer service is still excellent, but there has been a serious deterioration in despatch and delivery times. I think of Amazon as the Woolworth of the Web. I think! Honest pricing. Great customer service when things go wrong they send out replacements straight away (A razor) and dvd. Great website with help, customer reviews and can be cheapest though I still shop around as it is competitive.
