I thought (foolishly) that I was buying

I thought (foolishly) that I was buying from Amazon. My order, confirmed by Amazon, for expensive branded batteries, was shipped out to a third party 'Market Place' trader, who then supplied cheap unbranded items.
On complaining to the suplier, he promptly refunds the postage and halves the price of the supplied goods, as he claims 'he was out of' the branded ones'. Being short of time I accepted them.
When I returned from holiday, I read this traders feedback and it is quite clear that this is a deliberate and on-going strategy by him and I suspect many others and frankly, this is tantamount to fraud.
Having eventually acknowledged one e-mail, so far, my last 4 e-mails to Customer Services have just been ignored, so now I intend to write (by letter) to the MD/CEO at Amazon's head office and maybe, just maybe, I can put the skids under Customer Services and this 'Market Place' trader's practice.
This is trading far below the standards should be able to expect from a company like Amazon and it does them no good whatsoever.
So here is a WARNING, if you are buying from the 'Market Place' read the traders feedback carefully.
