i ordered on 23rd a birthday gift for

i ordered on 23rd a birthday gift for our 10 year old child...(birthday 28th). Paid extra for 1-2 day delivery service. Thought that it would arrive in good time. When Amazon say that an item is usually despatched within 24 hours...take heed...in my case it actually meant that the item is out of stock and when its been restocked we will get it to you in 1-2 days (because you did pay extra for quick delivery)...I am told that 10 year old will get her hi fi as late as the 10th of the following month. not so happy birthday. I should have shopped elsewhere.
