We have used Amazon a few times now and

We have used Amazon a few times now and always resolutely say never again. Then they come up best price and we seem to forget the hassle. It all comes down to delivery, every time there are excuses about not finding the address. Every time we spend hours on the phone chasing but you can't phone the courier company direct and Amazon only have e-mail contact with them which takes days for an answer.

My wife used Amazon for some Christmas shopping and it was delivered on time only because she kept chasing them and had the usual address not found excuses. This is just no way to run a major internet retailer.
