    I ordered a dvd boxset that was In the sale - advertised on the website for £17.99 and showing as 'in stock' so checked out and paid for the item.

    a week went by with no dvd delivered - yet the item was still showing as in stock - at a much higher price of £44.99.

    24 hours have passed since I cancelled my order and they still have the 24.99 price. Here is the store answer: «We're really sorry that you've had problems ordering Fallout 3 in one of
    our special offers. Sadly that title has now sold out. It takes a while
    for the new price to update throughout the web site, and this was taking

    As a lot of the reviews have stated, the price quoted on Kelkoo and the price on the HMV web site are constantly very different. I'm not sure this is a problem with HMV as a shop though.

    The search facility at HMV is very good as is the ordering process.

    Be warned.

    HMV operate a first come first served basis on orders, so even if an item is listed as in stock when you order it, it may go out of stock before they get around to processing your order and they will not warn you when this happens!

    If you do decide to place an order you will have to keep checking the status right up until it is shipped.
